Last summer our church experienced a transformational summer event that we called, “Come Together 2010.” It is now time to start planning for Come Together 2011! The weekend event under our tent will be held Thursday-Sunday, August 25-28th. If you enjoyed last year’s experience and have ideas for this year, please consider joining our planning committee. Soul Surfer – True story of teen surfer Bethany Hamilton who lost her arm in a shark attack and overcame the odds through determination and unwavering faith. Rated PG for accident sequence and some thematic material
Saturday, August 27
3:00-5:00 pm Family games, chalk art
5:00-6:00 pm Luau dinner
6:11 pm Worship with pool baptisms followed by bonfire and s’mores
Sunday, August 28
9:00 am Continental breakfast
10:00 am Worship
